Nintendo Adds Clip-On Circle Pad to 3DS

Yeah, I don’t believe it either. I heard rumors about this awhile ago, but had just dismissed them because it was so absurd. Apparently, Nintendo thinks it’s a good idea to add another method of input to the 3DS. I don’t understand their reasoning, but whatever the case, it’s coming. The add on adds a second circle pad and a R2 shoulder button to your 3DS. The only known game supporting it thus far is Monster Hunter 3G (which Capcom has said that they currently had no plans of localizing it, which is just super). We will definitely be hearing more about it at Nintendo’s 3DS press conference on the 13th. I wonder what the future has in store for the 3DS (and Nintendo in general).
