New Japanese Trailer for Animal Crossing 3DS

June 23, 2012

Porter! Mayoral duties! New stores! Who knows why on earth Nintendo of America refused to mention it at E3 or in their new Nintendo Direct.

Well, Animal Crossing 3DS will becoming to Japan this Fall and Europe in 2013. While this new trailer is awesome, personally I hope they release some official North Americans Animal Crossing info soon.

Animal Crossing 3DS Developer Roundtable

December 2, 2011

News about Animal Crossing 3DS has been in very small batches ever since it was announced. Now we have this developer roundtable to dissect. Although it won’t mean much to non Animal Crossing fanatics, I certainly had a joyous time watching it. I would analyze it for you, but IGN already did such a great job I think I’ll just send you over there if you are curious.

3DS Press Conference Wrap-up

September 13, 2011

Well, the 3DS press conference ended. There was a TON of new information. We got the announcement of a 3DS software update in November that will add the ability for the 3DS to capture 3D video. We got an announcement of Mario Tennis 3DS, as well as a number of other 3rd Party titles. We now have release dates for Super Mario 3D Land (November 13th) and Mario Kart 7 (December 4th). We now know that the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is Nintendo’s largest project ever with 50-100 hours of gameplay and over 100 minutes of cutscenes. We have the official announcement of the circle pad attachment and six announced compatible titles (all 3rd party). We now know that the Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Addition will be coming for free to DSiware and the 3DS eShop become available September 28th (and will become unavailable Feb 20th for know good reason). We have the announcement of a “Misty Pink” 3DS. And we have the announcements and detailing’s for a boat load of other stuff (including tons of info on Super Mario Land 3D, Mario Kart 7, Animal Crossing, Luigi’s Mansion 2, Paper Mario, and Kid Icarus). I’ll try to slowly upload the best of the info, but at the moment, I would recommend exploring the following links (all found on GoNintendo. What can I say? They are on top of it):

  • Nintendo’s press release that was launched right after the conference ended. (link)
  • The conference itself, which is entirely in Japanese. (link)
  • GoNintendo’s live blog with tons of information and vids of everything. (link)
  • Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 Interviews. (link)
  • Nintendo’s photo gallery, which is also all in Japanese. (link)
  • GoNintendo’s photo gallery which has every pic released, it’s just unorganized. (link)
